This 4* hotel is very pleasing on the eye both inside and out. This destination truly feels like a tropical paradise to all that visit. The ‘Sunlight Bahia Principe’ offers a master class in first class service from the professionalism of staff. On arrival we were made feeling very welcome with the receptionist being extremely informative giving us indication of everything the area Playa Pariso has to give. With a fast check in we were guided perfectly to our room.
Playa Pariso is situated on the coast in the south of Tenerife. Unfortunately the surroundings of the hotel are pretty tranquil as the area was built for this purpose. The 3 small pebble beaches don’t achieve the paradise status its named after. You will find that the more quality beaches lie outside the location heading towards the main part of Costa Adeje . You will need to use the shuttle bus or hire a car to get to the more lively parts of the resort. If you feel you want a more dramatic night out then Playa De Las Americas is the place to be. With many bars and restaurants this destination seems to be on all the tourists go to list.
A Great Night’s Sleep
The complex is quite large with all rooms spread across 7 floors. Each room has private balconies overlooking either the Atlantic ocean or the hotel pool. If you’re one of those people who love to keep up to date with recent Facebook posts then not to worry because the free Wi-Fi is a huge perk that this hotel boasts. The room was very spacious, clean and tidy which was the first indication that my stay here would be fantastic. Overall it felt like a home away from home making me feel very comfortable and chilled. Fit with its very own private bathroom shower/tub and suppling toiletries, bath towels and a hair dryer, this hotel really pulls out all the stops.
What do you look for when booking a hotel? For me it has to have a swimming pool when your in a hot country like Spain. Thankfully the ‘Sunlight Bahia Principe’ has 2 and 1 kids pool so I was winning. So if your preference is to lounge by the pool like me rather than by the sea this hotel fits that criteria. Lucky for me the weather was booming so with my poloraid sunglasses on and bottle of Dorada the local beer in my hand this is where I spent most of my day.
If you’re looking to burn of those calories you gained the night before then never fear as the hotel sports a typical gym you would use from home. Installed with cross trainers, running machines and weight training apparatus this facility will give you the full workout you desire. After you’ve been pushing hard in the gym why not try out their spa to remind you you’re on your holidays. Offering massages, body treatments and facials this should not go over looked.
The hotel isn’t short of choice when it comes to feeding time. With 4 themed restaurants between the Sunlight Bahia Principe and the Sister hotel next door. With the choice of Italian, Brazilian, Asian and Mediterranean it was hard to go back to the room feeling hungry. Having travelled to Italy the pizza and pasta really made me reminisce the Italian culture. However, My personal favourite was the Brazilian, serving me meat dishes until you tell them to stop, this was like a dream.
So there you have it you will be very satisfied knowing you have booked a stay at the Sunlight Bahia Principe. If your ideal holiday is to chill out by the pool in a quiet environment then you are in for a treat. If a more lively feel is what you fancy then just a short drive away is Playa De Las Americas for all the nightlife you wish upon.
